Patagonia, Arizona with Lauren and Ken

On the afternoon of August 2nd, we continued on to the Patagonia area to look for the continuing Sinaloa Wren and recently reported pair of Rufous-capped Warblers. We saw neither (though Ken and Laurel caught up with them a few days later by going in the early morning). But we did see some other things.

Sunflower Leaf Beetle, Zygogramma exclamationis

Spot-winged Glider, Pantala hymenaea

Jones's Spiderflower , Cleome jonesii

On the spiderflower:

Harlequin Bug, Murgantia histrionica

Haldeman's Green Potato Beetle, Leptinotarsa haldemani

Aztec Dancer, Argia nahuana

Fatal Metalmark

Bordered Patch
